1. Poetry Foundation:
The Poetry Foundation is a quiet place in the middle of River North. It has a large library, an exhibition gallery, a courtyard with trees, and a place for live concerts. There will be readings, talks, seminars, and conversations, all of which are free and open to the public. Entrance is free. Attend a poetry reading, see a movie, or just relax for a while.
2. Attend The Carnival at Navy Pier:
Discover this one-of-a-kind celebration of customs from throughout the world through art-making activities, international dances, live performances, and live music in Chicago. The Aon Grand Ballroom will host this free International Carnival celebration as a part of Navy Pier’s Global Connections Series.
3. Snowshow at Lakefront:
Take advantage of the winter weather by participating in Polar Adventure Days, a free outdoor activity offered by the Chicago Park District. The festival is held on lakefront Northerly Island and offers activities including snowshoeing, viewings of raptors, husky sled team displays, winter crafts, and more.
4. Visit The DuSable Museum:

Don’t miss the opportunity to try some of the greatest foods the city has to offer if you happen to be visiting in July. The ambiance and live music are worth checking out even if you are not hungry.
6. Second City Comedy Show:
We chose this group and program since it does a unique play centered on current events (and the odd political times we are living in) out of all the ones they had running. It was hilarious, you guys. The sketches ranged in length from quick and simple to ones that involves audience participation.
6. Millennium Park:
A jazz festival was in progress when you strolled by, and Millennium Park is renowned for all of the amazing free events and activities that it offers. You also stopped by Cloud Gate, commonly known as The Bean, which was cool but very crowded in the afternoon.
7. Medieval Torture Museum:
Are you interested in learning more about medieval torture in an adventurous way? See more than a hundred macabre items and gadgets from the most dreadful eras in human history. If you dare, observe numerous executions and painful methods being used in a historical torture device. Children will not be allowed without adults! In order to find the ghosts of the tormented victims who still haunt the museum, visitors can download a ghost-hunting app.
8. Hogwarts House to Attend The Harry Potter Magic Show:
Fans of all ages can live out their magical dreams in this cool interactive experience, which has three floors of enchanting regions. From potions class to the Quidditch field, you will have a lot of fun. You can even see some strange creatures in the forbidden forest. Grab your wand and join the party!
